IT trend of interest-PC Tablet

I recently purchased a new HP Pavilion tx2500 tablet for my journey into instructional design as a student at UCD, and as a teacher at a local school working with special needs high school students. This is my second experience buying a laptop computer and the reason I decided to buy a tablet pc is to give me more flexibility in completing my assignments as a student and to utilize this experience with my students as well. This entry is my attempt to learn more about my recent purchase and the resources that are available to help me optimize this new experience. My focus is to come to the conclusion that a tablet pc is more effective in its use of technology for me as a teacher, instructional design student, and as an new instructional design professional. Also, what are the limitations of this technology?

I like the the tablet in that it is light weight and I am also able to use it as a laptop as well. I am use my finger and the pen that came wit it as a mouse. Also I can write on the tablet and it reads my writing. So far it has been a good investment but I need more time to draw my final conclusions with the tablet. Watch one of the You Tube videos and tell me what you think about the tablet and its use in a classroom.
